I went to see my doctor yesterday to see if we could find the umbilical cord, because they were not able to see it at my last ultrasound.  Well little Christopher decided to be a mover still, but we were able to find it and measure everything.  His spine, heart, brain, everything seems to be where it should be.  His foot is already measuring an inch and he is already weighing a pound.  I think Carson was right we are going to have a “big” baby.  :)   With our heritage it’s no surprise though.  He was upside down during the ultrasound lying on his head with his feet above his head and his hands above his head, he decided to kick the ultrasound tech and she said that she had never felt a baby kick this early, so apparently he has some strong powerful kicks (which I have been feeling for some time now.)  Below I have posted several pics that the ultrasound tech gave me, we took a DVD to have her burn some movement on there but her burner was out so she saved it to the hard drive and when it’s fixed next week she is going to burn it for me.  Hope everyone has a great labor day weekend!

Well everyone it is official the baby has been moving like crazy lately.  I thought I felt him a few weeks ago but they say it just feels like gas bubbles (with me who can tell the difference?)  Well Carson had his ear to my stomach to hear our little man rolling around when he was kicked in the ear!  I laughed so hard that I was then kicked.  Anytime I laugh or sneeze he doesn’t seem to like it much and gets pretty upset so he moves around but he’s the most active at night.  Anytime I actually get comfortable (a real pleasure these days) he decides its time to dance around my uterus.  I told Carson last night that we were going to have a little soccer player and him being the dirt biker he is said nah he’s just practicing kick starting his dirt bike.  )

That’s about all the update I have for now, I can’t believe that I am almost half way there already, it was a very good blessing to not have to go through the throws of the first trimester, getting off my medicine was a bit hard there for about a week, I couldn’t sleep and had stomach pains but now everything is back to normal besides the frequent bathroom trips every night.

We are in the throws of moving at the current moment, finally a house!  We painted this past weekend and made what was the TV room into a media room and this weekend we get to go buy decorations for it, I’m very excited but I think Carson is more excited to have a dark place to watch tv.  Everything is being moved over tonight and tomorrow night, Carson and I have off Friday so Verizon and Brinks can set everything up place our lovely daughter Hannah has a vet appointment so Carson will be taking her to that so I don’t get scratched to pieces.

Hope everyone has a great weekend, I will post some belly pics once we finally get settled in the house probably around next Friday when I am 20 weeks.

Love you all!

Well we originally went in to hear the heartbeat and make sure my Due date of March 4th was correct. As soon as the ultrasound tech touched my stomach with the wand she said “WOAH.” I then look at the screen to see a body trashing about, the little bean that should have been there is replaced with a 2 oz baby! It turns out I’m 16 weeks and 5 days along instead of the 9 weeks and 1 day that I would have been yesterday. Let me tell you what all it was to comprehend that! Here I am sitting thinking Im going to get a look at my little bean when BAM there’s a baby that I can completely make out! My due date is now January 11th which is my mom’s birthday. And to top it all off, I found out what we are having. We are having a little baby………………………………….BOY! Little Christopher Ryan Wright will be joining the world in January. So after letting all of the shock finally settle down, I am much better than I was yesterday. It was just a lot to take in at my first ultrasound! But Carson and I are very happy, and are planning everything out now. We can’t wait to have our little boy here with us!
